I'm studying John 14 and came upon some amazing word truth... I may go into further detail of the challenge and application in John 14; but 4 points in this chapter right away (vs 1) are to believe, adhere, trust, and rely on God.
To BELIEVE is to have confidence which comes from the root of "confide" which is to impart secrets trustfully; discuss private matters or problems
To ADHERE is to stay, to be consistent
To TRUST is very similar to believing. It is to again, confide
To RELY is to depend which is to to be subordinate to another linguistic form in the same construction; to form a part of a construction other than the head

Just a little piece of the Jesus-theme in my life.
As I was declaring in my last post :: {I Believe} :: which means I consistently believe, confide, abide, believe, trust and depend. THAT'S my role and part as the daughter...(other than, meaning, NOT the head) :)
... Let God be God.

Seriously your posts are getting better and better. And for sure more challenging!! If we could catch these 4 our walk with Jesus would be more and more intense. As we believe, adhere, trust, and rely, and "let God be God," he is able to do what he is best at: healing, restoration, blessing, and miracles. Really, that list is endless. Very challenging! Keep 'em coming. And hey, keep writing music. We need some more worship songs. :)
